Pixel Extension utilizes three rooms to present four works.

In the first room - “Looking at Celestial Bodies from the Earth,” Chen uses two different approaches to test Al's perception of thematically categorizing her personal preferences: one is to replace the actual moon in a photographic image taken at night time with the moon texture, and the other is to empty the pixel of the moon. In the second room - “Looking at the Earth from Space,” the artist adopts the form of software tutorial often used by self-media, and utilizes the astronomical image “Pale Blue Dot” as a sample. Using the Al functions of noise reduction and super resolution, the noise-like Earth is removed to extend a “pale blue dot in high quality,” which enables the artist to imagine how Al perceives her puniness. The third room serves as “a metaphor for the unpredictable future,” using a ladder built with exponential spanning until the steps eventually exceed the height that a person can climb. Meanwhile, the Al technology of text embedding is employed to convert Google search entries, which form an unconscious process of self-profiling, into algorithmically computed moving images that look like random noise-a metaphor for the artist's noise-like existence in the perception of the non-human subject.
